Started in August 2021, this project represents an early but focused effort to deepen my skills in vanilla JavaScript, CSS, and WordPress custom post types. At the time, I was especially interested in understanding how to build lightweight, custom solutions without relying heavily on frameworks or plugins.
This site was created as volunteer work for the local Deaf Association in Saskatchewan, with the goal of eventually becoming a helpful online resource for the Deaf community here in SK. While still in development, the core functionality is in place, and I’m currently awaiting design feedback—particularly around calls to action and mobile responsiveness.
The site is hosted live as a subdomain of my own website for ongoing testing and collaboration. Once finalized, it will be launched on its own domain and maintained in partnership with the organization.
